Balsam Hill Christmas!!!

I am so honored to be joining Balsam Hill on their twelve bloggers tour.  I’ve always adored Balsam Hill’s Christmas trees so I was so thrilled when I was asked to join the tour and get to experience their amazing prelit Christmas Trees!

If you follow me on Instagram you know that we just moved into our new home a week ago so pulling Christmas together in one room was quite interesting. 🙂  We used things that we had packed within the last truck to pull the room together.  The inspiration behind the entire thing was this gorgeous Frosted Alpin Balsam Fir with these beautiful ornaments (Winter Wishes and Midnight Frost), topped with this amazing star tree topper.

As always I love the feeling of whimsy and Christmas in the time that I can really express that with the sparkle and glitter and warm glow that the decorations show.  I love to make it cozy inside, especially since we live in the Midwest where it’s definitely cold in winter.  So making it homely and warm is my top priority.

The tree that I chose from Balsam Hill encompasses just that.  It’s very whimsical and quirky while at the same time it’s elegant and dainty.  It’s perfect for a bedroom which is where we chose to put ours.   Thank you Balsam Hill to get me motivated to decorate the first room in our new home for the Christmas season.  Your décor really helped to bring coziness into our home.  I look forward to decorating the rest of our home and sharing that with you soon.

The season isn’t about what we have or how complete we have everything.  It’s about embracing our family.  This move has really taught me to be patient with your journey.   And even though I don’t have my whole house decorated like I normally would by now, the process throughout this move and the time spent with our family this past week in our new home has been priceless.  We’ll slowly and surely get there with the decorating.  But for now we’re going to take it one room at a time.  Thank you so much for following along and we look forward to sharing.  And if you’re looking for a sparkly and adorable tree that ooze fairy lights that sparkly like glitter than this tree is for you.  Frosted Alpin Balsam Fir
